Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne:Archbishop Denis Hart
This site offers homilies on a variety of subjects. It offers refelctions on various topics of the church. Hart offers a very simple and relevant message for his parishoners. A good resource if one is looking for guidance on a topic for personal, teaching or academic reasons.--Matthew Marosszeky
Canadian Catholic Enchiridiron
Canadian Catholic Enchiridion is aimed at providing comprehensive and useful information of the Roman Catholic Church. Although the website lays stress on Canadian contents, contents pertaining to the Universal church are also provided. -- Sophie Farag

Catechism Of The Catholic Church
This web site is an on-line version of the Catechism of the Catholic Church published by Christusrex.org. It is a search engine available both in English and Spanish. It serves as a good reference where one can find the position of the Catholic Church on different issues. This web site is useful for students who do not own a hard copy of the Catechism and are asked to do a research paper or a presentation on controversial topics, such as abortion or euthanasia. -- J. Koprianiuk

This website has sub-headings leading to Catholic Links, Creating a Safe Environment, Learning and Living your Faith, On-line Giving, and the Sacraments.  It has also a Papal Home Page with the Papacy which includes articles such as the biography of Pope Benedict, Prayers for Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict's XVI, the Life and Death of Pope John Paul II.-- Sandra Corrao
Vatican: The Holy See
- Vatican Online. This is the main Vatican website delivered in a multiple of languages and deals with a multitude of Catholic issues including education and the difficulties that we encounter at the threshold of the third Millennium. It also provides Catholic news, a library and information on the Vatican City State. -Lucia Cefis
On the homepage there is a choice of Dutch, English, Spanish, French, Italian & Portuguese. The English choice leads to a WEB menu with choices for Archive, Vatican Museums, Vatican City State, Library & Secret Archive, News Services, The Roman Curia, Holy Father, Jubilee Events. Each of these has a menu. There is also an internal search engine for the Vatican within the website.
This site seems to be a work in progress. Some of the site was only available in Italian. Other parts of the site were not up and running as yet. Still, it provides among other things, pictures of Popes, their encyclicals, some bios, speeches, messages and letters. Artwork of the Vatican can also be seen. I recommend the tour of the frescoes in the Sistine Chapel.
This site would be good for research, for teaching church documents, keeping up with Vatican news and great for having a look at some of the art treasures of the Vatican.--Pat Cooney
